Customs Settings
Duty information
Here you can store the customs information. To do this, please select the appropriate country and enter the appropriate VAT identification number (UID number) in the next field. You also have the option of storing several countries and their corresponding UID numbers. These are required for customs when shipping to non-EU countries.

Closest Droppoint
The following steps are necessary to use the service Closest Droppoint (CDP) in the app:
The service CDP has to be activated by the sales department from DHL in your business customer contract.
- Shopify Admin -> Apps -> Post & DHL Shipping (official)
- There should be the Dashboard -> Accounts -> Paket - #00000000000 -> Edit
- Under Edit Account -> Customs -> Closest Droppoint -> activate
- (optional) The option All labels have this option active by default, can be chosen to be automatically preselected.
Once these steps have been completed and you create a shipping label for a country that meets the criteria, you will see on the page Create Label under Available Options the service Closest Droppoint for selection.

Postal Delivery Duty Paid
The reason for activating this service are the new guidelines for shipments to the USA: US shipment
The following steps are necessary to use the service PDDP (Postal Delivery Duty Paid) in the app:
The service PDDP has to be activated by the sales department from DHL in your business customer contract.
- In Shopify Admin -> Apps -> Post & DHL Shipping (official)
- There should be the Dashboard -> Accounts -> Paket - #00000000000 -> Edit
- Under Edit Account -> Customs -> Postal Delivery Duty Paid -> activate
- (optional) The option All labels have this option active by default, can be chosen to be automatically preselected.
Once these steps have been completed and you create a shipping label for a country that meets the criteria, you will see on the page Create Label under Available Options the service Postal Delivery Duty Paid for selection.
