International Shipping
Please note that you have previously filled in the weight, the country of origin, the HS code and the customs description for all your products. These are required for international shipping to create the customs documents. You must also enter your VAT identification number (UID number) in the app as follows Customs Information.
Weight, country of origin, HS code and customs description
The weight is required for shipping to select the appropriate shipping method. The HS code is used to name and code the goods, ensuring consistent classification worldwide. The country of origin and customs description must also be filled in.

Open Shopify.

Click on Products.

To edit a product, click on an item.

You will now find the settings for International Shipping in the middle of this page. To do this, please open the Add Customs Information window.

Here you can now specify the weight, the HS code, and the country of origin.

Please also add the customs description for the product in the
[DHL] customsItemDescription
field. -
Please save the changes as shown below.
Bulk Editing
Shopify offers you the option to enter the HS code and country of origin in the bulk process. You can find the instructions here.
To enter the data required for customs clearance for multiple products at once, please follow the instructions below.

In Shopify, click on Products and then on Inventory.

Next, select All Products.

Then, click on Bulk Edit.

In the top right corner, you will find Columns. Please click on them and select the following options. You can now edit the weight, country of origin, HS code, and customs description for all products at once.

Finally, please don't forget to click Save.
You will only find the inventory if you use warehouse management in Shopify.
